Hello everyone! I'm Kerrin and I'm playing The Big Bad Wolf. She goes by the name of Iris when she has to, but she actually doesn't know her birth name and tends to not use Iris that often. I've never been very good at summaries, so here is her
Application.
She is, for all intensive purposes, a wolf and lives with the big scary Winterwood wolves. She's definitely not a nice character, not someone you would want to meet in the woods. She sees herself as far more wolf than human.
History: Iris was raised with wolves since she was a young child, and has never feared them, in fact they were all she knew from the age of 5 and up. She could not even remember her birth name, so when she did wander into town from time to time for supplies, she had to name herself for simple greeting purposes. She socialized with people in town just enough to keep her language skills, and really this was purely accidental, she would have been perfectly happy being unable to speak a word, but there are things wolves can not simply offer a young girl from time to time, and she found herself needing to go to the general store for clothing, certain food, to the blacksmith for weapons, etc.
Hunting with the pack, Iris survives like the wolves, eating raw meat, tearing at the carcass with her teeth, which have become sharper and used to such activity over time, occasionally tearing into it with her knife. It is not unusual to see her bent over a deer carcass surrounded by wolves, her face deep into the animal's flesh, eating away, face covered in blood. The only time Iris cooks is when she is not eating meat fresh from a kill, when the meat has had to be stored. When she was young she soon found that people would pay good money for animal pelts and meat, so she made a business out of it, hunting and bringing hides and meat into town, selling them for basic supplies.
The pelt she wears is a white wolf pelt, and while she can not vocalize the relationship she had in human tongue, it is akin to that of a mother figure, even though Iris had a few of those in the pack. She was the closest to that wolf, and watched her get shot one great hunt. A lone man had found the pack, the pack which Iris usually tried to hide each great hunt, finding the casualties far outweighing the fun of killing the hunters. A man found them hiding and resting in a cave when Iris was but 12 years old. Three arrows were shot into the wolf and killed her before Iris could do anything about it. Only 12, Iris's rage was no match for the man, and she sent him back to town, near death and stuttering about some crazy wolf girl. Over the years she earned the nickname the Big Bad Wolf, and she prefers it over the name she fashioned for herself, using it instead of Iris most of the time.
